Pro bono legal services for San Marino citizens

The Consulate of San Marino in London, aiming to better serve and improve its consular assistance to the San Marino citizens,  is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Avv. Gerardo Aprovitolo to provide legal services on “pro bono” basis to the San Marino citizen referred by the Consulate.

Avv. Gerardo Aprovitolo, a founding lawyer of ADL solicitors, has agreed to provide to the San Marino citizens on “Pro bono” basis legal advice on a wide range of issues related to the commercial and corporate laws.

Gerardo Aprovitolo is qualified as a lawyer in both Italy and UK and heads up the company and commercial department at ADL Solicitors Ltd, where he is a funding partner. He is 20 years qualified and has handled a wide range of private and corporate clients. He also oversees the recently established medical negligence and personal injury department at ADL.

The same agreement was reached with Ms Sara Alessandrini, an Italian speaking criminal defence solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in representing people charged with every type of criminal offence, including tax, fraud and business crime.

She works with O’Keeffe Solicitors,  a leading firm of criminal lawyers based in London. Her office is located near Chancery Lane and she offers a free first appointment to referrals from our Consulate to discuss any potential case and thereafter works on both legal aid and private fee basis.

O’Keeffe Solicitors have a team of over 20 lawyers and operates a central pool of key personnel who will deal with initial enquiries on criminal law matters.

Another important agreement was reached with Mr. James Card, to offer financial advice to the San Marino citizen. Mr Card is Director of Hewitt Card, which has been established as a Chartered Certified Accountants since the 1950’s and over that time it has built up a reputation for taking a strong commercial approach to accountancy services.
