The Consulate is very pleased to announce that Dr Lisa Cameron MP, member of Scottish National Party, is awarded the order of St Agatha by the Republic of San Marino.
The Republic recognised the merits of Dr Lisa Cameron MP, Vicechair of the APPG on San Marino, in supporting the freedom of the Republic during the Covid-19 emergency and advancing the parliamentarian cooperation and use of the parliamentarian dimension to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the UK and San Marino.
In particular, the Republic recognised her outstanding contribution since 2015 as Chair of Disability All Party Parliamentary group. Dr Cameron has never spared an effort in bringing positive change in the life of so many disabled people and campaigning for “right at the top ” change to help increase representation of people with disabilities in politics.
