Internship Placement

The Honorary Consulate of San Marino is pleased to advertise a new internship position from September 2022. The position aims to offer students the possibility of getting to know the diplomatic world and doing work experience that can be included in their Curriculum Vitae.

Deadline: The Honorary Consulate of San Marino will accept applications until 31st August 2022. We encourage early applications, as from time to time we will review the received applications and notify applicants if they have been selected for the interview process. 

Description

The main activities that will be carried out will be administrative tasks such as managing part of the consul’s email correspondence, writing letters to members of other delegations or political figures and participating in general meetings with the other members of the delegation.

The intern, in addition to the purely administrative and more bureaucratic part of the activities of the Consulate, will take care of social media management and will keep the consulate website and the consul’s website up to date. Additionally, the intern will also perform tasks for the charitable association that the consulate supports, Esharelife Foundation. 

Location

The position is remote working for the duration of the internship. It is not required for the selected candidate to relocate to London where the Consulate office is located. Applicants based in London may have the opportunity to work from the consulate office, but this option cannot be guaranteed at the current time.

Duration

We are currently looking for a six months internship placement. Therefore, we kindly ask applicants to specify their availability when submitting the application.

Working hours

We are looking for an intern that will be available to work for a minimum of 2 days and a half a week and for a maximum of three 3 days a week.

Required qualifications

The intern must be fluent in written and spoken English. Students must be between 18 to 28 years old.

Other requirements

Priority will be given to students from the Republic of San Marino and to students who are able to speak and write in Italian.
