Internship Placement

The Honorary Consulate of San Marino is delighted to provide unpaid internship opportunities to young individuals who aspire to learn from experienced professionals. This position aims to offer students the chance to gain a better understanding of international affairs and diplomacy, as well as gain work experience in the consular field. This experience can help them to create new opportunities or advance their careers.

Description

The primary tasks to be performed include administrative duties like handling a portion of the Consulate’s email communication, composing letters addressed to delegates or political personalities, and attending meetings with the rest of the delegation members.

In addition to handling administrative and bureaucratic tasks at the Consulate, the intern will also manage social media and keep the website up-to-date. Furthermore, they will assist with tasks related to the charitable organization supported by the Consulate, Esharelife Foundation.

Location

Applicants can choose to work remotely, in our London offices, or a combination of both.

Duration

The minimum length of internship is 6 months.

Working hours

The interns must be available to work for a minimum of 2 days and a half a week.

Required Qualifications

The intern must be fluent in written and spoken English. Students must be between 18 to 25 years old.

Other criteria

Priority will be given to students from the Republic of San Marino and to students who are able to speak and write in Italian. 

Deadline: The Honorary Consulate of San Marino accepts applications twice a year, in August and March. We recommend submitting your applications early because we periodically review them and inform applicants if they have been selected for an interview.
