On October 19, 2020, the Court of the Company of Communicators – the Livery company’s governing body – welcomed the Honorary Consul of San Marino in the UK, Dr Maurizio Bragagni, among its new Freemen in a virtual Installation Ceremony.
The Freedom of the City of London is ancient. It is believed that the very first Freedom was presented as far back as 1237. Nowadays it represents a unique part of London history to which many people who have lived or have worked in the City have been proud to be admitted.
The Company of Communicators’ mission is to support charitable organisations and causes that are relevant to communication in particular. It is actively involved in fundraising activities, as well in offering advice and training in specialist areas by sharing best practices.
