Consul Bragagni Appointed Honorary Councillor of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UK

On 2 June 2025, Consul Bragagni was appointed as Honorary Councillor of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the United Kingdom (ICCIUK). This distinction reflects both his longstanding commitment to strengthening economic and cultural ties between Italy and the UK and his professional standing as a leader in the international business community.

The appointment was extended by the ICCIUK President Alessandro Belluzzo and President-Elect Roberto Costa, who expressed their gratitude to Prof. Bragagni for accepting the role. In their official communication, they acknowledged the value of his expertise and perspective, noting that his involvement will significantly enrich the work and vision of the Chamber.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK is one of the most active and historic bilateral chambers in Europe, operating under the recognition of the Italian government. It plays a vital role in supporting Italian businesses in the UK and creating opportunities for collaboration, trade, investment, and policy. Through a broad network of institutions and entrepreneurs, the ICCIUK serves as a bridge between the two countries, promoting business practices and innovation.

The role of Honorary Councillor is both symbolic and strategic, reflecting the ICCIUK’s dedication to engaging individuals who embody its core mission: to promote bilateral cooperation, economic exchange, and entrepreneurial innovation between Italy and the United Kingdom.

With this appointment, Prof. Bragagni joins a respected council of advisors who help shape the Chamber’s future direction and amplify its impact within the broader international context.
