On 23rd February 2026, the House of Commons hosted a landmark reception to mark the official launch of the Longest Tiramisù Guinness World Record attempt, an ambitious charity and cultural project bringing together the Italian community in the United Kingdom ahead of the main event, scheduled for 25th and 26th April 2026 at Chelsea Old Town Hall.
The Consulate of San Marino to the United Kingdom is proud to offer its full patronage to this charity project, affirming its continued commitment to charitable activities and celebrating and promoting Italian cultural heritage in Britain.

Mirko Ricci, Head of Complitaly TV, moderated the event, which was well-attended by UK Parliament members, the London Diplomatic Corps (including Dean H.E. Iván Romero-Martínez, Ambassador of Honduras), the Sammarinese Community, and Esharelife Foundation supporters and volunteers.

Mr Ricci’s leadership has been instrumental in translating an ambitious vision into an internationally recognised undertaking. His remarks at the reception captured the spirit of the project: the conviction that communities, when united by shared culture and purpose, can achieve something far greater than the sum of their individual efforts.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence of Davide Seidita and Maria Cristina Seidita, whose authentic connection to Italian culinary and cultural traditions lent the event a warmth and depth that resonated with all in attendance. As respected voices within the Italian community, their participation underscored the importance of cultural representation and continuity, values that the Consulate of San Marino regards as foundational to meaningful international engagement.
For the Consulate, patronage of this initiative reflects a broader institutional commitment to fostering the bonds between San Marino, Italy, and the United Kingdom. The record attempt is not simply a logistical achievement; it is an expression of the living ties between communities, a demonstration that culture, hospitality, and shared tradition remain powerful forces in contemporary public life.
The Consulate cordially invites the Sammarinese community to participate in this charity event, which supports Esharelife Foundation in helping vulnerable communities, and features live music, Italian markets, and public tastings.
