The Honorary Consulate of San Marino in the UK is pleased to announce that through its full patronage given to the Esharelife Christmas Concert, it has been possible to raise money for children’s education in Kenya covering the needs of 350 children for one year.
More than 350 children from some of Kenya’s worst slum communities will have a school place, uniforms – including shoes and socks – and two meals five days a week thanks to a charity’s live-streamed international concert. For all of them, these will be their only new clothes and the only days they eat two meals.
The Concerto di Natale di Esharelife on 16 December 2020 saw artists from all over the world perform across Zoom, YouTube and via the charity’s own web portal. Supporters bought tickets and then took up the offer to make further donations through DonorBox, Amazon Smile, social media platforms and the Esharelife website.
The three-hour and 45-minute concert were hosted by Esharelife Dr Maurizio Bragagni with the charity’s Vice President Mr Domenico Aiello co-presenting an introduction to the evening. Musicians, groups, duos and solo artists from across the globe tuned in to entertain an international audience.
Per tutta la durata del concerto, le pause sono state utilizzate per condividere le interviste con i responsabili dei progetti di beneficenza, i politici senior e i maggiori benefattori che a loro volta hanno offerto i loro ringraziamenti e le loro congratulazioni per il successo della serata. E, naturalmente, l'evento è stato aperto da chi non è altro che Babbo Natale.
Il dottor Antonino Masuri, project manager di AVSI Kenya ha illustrato il lavoro svolto grazie al sostegno di Esharelife.org e i patroni di Esharelife.org, Dr Selva Pankaj e Lord Rami Ranger CBE , hanno offerto una riflessione sull'incredibile differenza che il sostegno ha permesso.
