Per richiedere il passaporto è necessario essere cittadini sammarinesi ed essere formalmente residenti nel Regno Unito.
Prima di richiedere il passaporto, assicurarsi che il proprio certificato di nascita sia stato formalmente registrato presso l'Ufficio del Registro Civile di San Marino.
In case your birth certificate is NOT registered in San Marino, the original birth certificate (legalised with an apostille and with an Italian translation) must be presented with your passport application.

The mandatory documents to be enclosed with the passport application for people aged 18 years and over (Form A) are as follows:
– Translated criminal record, unless issued in Italian or multilingual;
– Certificate or signed attestation of civil capacity
– 2 photos meeting ICAO standards
The mandatory documents to be enclosed with the passport application for people aged less than 18 years (Form B) are as follows:
– The consent of both parents is required by signing in the space provided on the form.
– Photocopy of an identity document of both parents;
– 2 photos meeting ICAO standards
– The signature of the child who has reached the age of 12 years shall be included on the form.
As per the ICAO guidelines on photographs for travel documents, they shall have a white background to avoid the issue of passports with non-compliant images that could create problems at customs offices.

Please include your expired passport and 2 passport-size photographs, ICAO format. If your passport has been lost or stolen, you must also submit a Lost/Stolen Report from the local police and another form of identification. If possible, please provide a photocopy of your lost or stolen passport.
