San Marino Celebrates ecoRally World Champions

The Republic of San Marino proudly honoured Guido Guerrini e Artur Prusak following their victory in the 2025 Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup. During an official audience at the Palazzo Pubblico, the Captains Regent received the newly crowned world champions, recognising a historic achievement for the country. Consul Maurizio Bragagni took part in the ceremony, reaffirming the Consulate’s strong support for the team and for national initiatives promoting sustainability and technological innovation.

The audience included FAMS leaders, the drivers’ families, and the San Marino spirit of the ecorally, Ennio Morri. Their Excellencies, Captains Regent, Matteo Rossi and Lorenzo Bugli, speaking to them, described this victory as a significant achievement that positively enhances the country’s image. The collaboration with the two drivers began in the summer of 2024 and proved successful immediately. For this reason, Secretaries of State Pedini Amati and Rossano Fabbri, as well as FAMS, have stated that it will continue, already announcing that the two will race in a car with San Marino plates in 2026.

Guerrini&Prusak campaign produced six victories out of 13 races, culminating in an audience with the Captains Regent of the Republic, during which the achievement was celebrated as a landmark moment for San Marino.

The success signals that our small Republic can lead in arenas of sustainability and technology — not just in the symbolic sense, but concretely. By aligning with a programme of electric-vehicle rallying, we send the message that San Marino embraces forward-looking solutions, and that our identity as a sovereign state can interface fluently with global commitments and high-profile international contests.

The world title marks the culmination of an exceptional season for Guerrini and Prusak. Their success follows a strong performance earlier in the year at the Scotland leg of the championship, where they achieved second place under challenging conditions. On that occasion as well, Consul Bragagni travelled to support the Sammarinese team, reflecting the Consulate’s active involvement in ecoRally competitions and its patronage of the ecoRally 2025 programme.

These accomplishments demonstrate how San Marino, despite its size, continues to excel on the global stage by embracing innovation, sustainable technologies and international collaboration. The Consulate of San Marino in London remains committed to championing these efforts and to promoting the Republic’s values and achievements across the United Kingdom and beyond.
