The Consulate of San Marino in the UK proudly supports the Longest Tiramisù Project, an official Guinness World Record attempt scheduled for 25–26 April 2026 at Chelsea Old Town Hall, London.
At first glance, the Longest Tiramisù Project may seem like another ambitious culinary feat aimed at capturing a Guinness World Record. But look closer, and it becomes clear that this initiative is something far richer: a celebration of culture, community, creativity, and compassion, layered as thoughtfully as the dessert at its heart.
Set to take place at Chelsea Old Town Hall, a historic Victorian landmark on London’s iconic King’s Road, the Guinness World Record attempt is anchored in a location that embodies heritage and public life. The venue is not merely a backdrop but a symbol of the project’s ambition to bring people together in a shared civic and cultural experience.
At its core, the Longest Tiramisù Project is a community-driven initiative for charity. Crucially, the project channels its impact toward social good. Proceeds and awareness will support the Fondazione Esharelife, a UK-based charity dedicated to improving lives in disadvantaged communities worldwide through initiatives in education, health, food security, and social welfare. In doing so, the event aligns indulgence with responsibility, reminding audiences that even celebratory moments can contribute to meaningful change.
The institutional backing behind the Longest Tiramisù Project further underscores its significance. The initiative is held under official patronage and will be presented at both the Italian Parliament and the UK Parliament, reflecting strong bilateral support and recognition. A press conference at the Italian Cultural Institute, followed by a standing dinner at the Italian Embassy in London attended by Maestro Iginio Massari and representatives of Italian and British institutions, places the project firmly at the intersection of diplomacy, culture, and excellence.
In an era where spectacle often overshadows substance, the Longest Tiramisù Project offers a refreshing counterexample. It proves that a world record can be more than a headline; it can be a bridge between nations, a platform for young talent, a canvas for art, and a vehicle for solidarity. Like the dessert it celebrates, this project succeeds because of balance: tradition and innovation, pleasure and purpose, scale and soul.
The Longest Tiramisù is not just about how far a dessert can stretch; it is about how far a community can reach when it comes together for something bigger than itself!
We cordially invite you to be part of this project.
