{"id":2916,"date":"2025-03-17T11:36:52","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T11:36:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.consolatosanmarino.uk\/?p=2916"},"modified":"2025-05-06T11:18:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T10:18:02","slug":"attention-to-the-electronic-travel-authorization-eta-for-the-united-kingdom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.consolatosanmarino.uk\/it\/news\/attention-to-the-electronic-travel-authorization-eta-for-the-united-kingdom\/","title":{"rendered":"Attention to the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for the United Kingdom!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further to our previous notice on UK ETA, this is a reminder it will come into effect from April 2, 2025, for all San Marino and European citizens intending to travel to the United Kingdom for short stays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from March 5, 2025, the ETA can be requested exclusively through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Official App<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=uk.gov.HomeOffice.ho3&amp;hl=en_GB\">UK ETA on Google Play<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/gb\/app\/uk-eta\/id6444912481\"><strong>UK ETA<\/strong><\/a><strong> on  App Store&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Official Website<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta\">Apply for an ETA &#8211; GOV.UK<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cost of the ETA<\/strong>: \u00a316 \u2013 be cautious not to pay more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Avoid non-official sites and intermediaries that apply additional fees or provide incorrect information!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions from the ETA:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foreign citizens residing in the United Kingdom with a valid visa or residence permit (including pre-settled or settled status).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>British and Irish citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Validity<\/strong>: The ETA is valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first.
