{"id":1543,"date":"2021-09-06T16:48:25","date_gmt":"2021-09-06T15:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.consolatosanmarino.uk\/?p=1543"},"modified":"2024-01-17T11:01:33","modified_gmt":"2024-01-17T11:01:33","slug":"update-travelling-from-the-uk-to-san-marino","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.consolatosanmarino.uk\/en\/news\/update-travelling-from-the-uk-to-san-marino\/","title":{"rendered":"Update- Travelling from the UK to San Marino"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Travellers are allowed to enter San Marino without any restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travellers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to San Marino and are not required to quarantine on arrival in San Marino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, as entry into San Marino is only possible through Italy, travellers should review Italy&#8217;s travel restrictions before travelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current restrictions for travelling from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Italy are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trovanorme.salute.gov.it\/norme\/dettaglioAtto?id=81933\">Order of the Ministry of Health of 29 July 2021<\/a>, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Gibraltar and the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and British bases in Cyprus)&nbsp;<strong>belongs in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salute.gov.it\/portale\/nuovocoronavirus\/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=english&amp;id=5412&amp;area=nuovoCoronavirus&amp;menu=vuoto&amp;tab=4\">List D<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, travellers from these countries must do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>fill out the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/app.euplf.eu\/#\/\">dPLF<\/a><\/li><li>take a swab test within 48 hours prior to their arrival in Italy<\/li><li>be in self-quarantine for 5 days<\/li><li>take a swab test at the end of the 5-day quarantine<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than filling out the dPLF, which is always mandatory, the other measures can be waived according to specific criteria. See the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salute.gov.it\/portale\/nuovocoronavirus\/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=english&amp;id=5412&amp;area=nuovoCoronavirus&amp;menu=vuoto&amp;tab=9\">Exemptions&nbsp;<\/a>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certificates issued by the health authorities of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Gibraltar and the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and British bases on the island of Cyprus) are equivalent to those of the European Union for access to activities and services on the Italian territory such as indoor restaurants, museums and cinemas.
