Internship Placement within the Honorary Consulate of San Marino in London

The Honorary Consulate of San Marino is pleased to advertise a new internship position that will be available from October 2021. The position aims to offer students the possibility to get to know the diplomatic world and do a work experience that can be included in their Curriculum Vitae.

Description

The main activities that will be carried out will be administrative tasks such as managing part of the consul’s email correspondence, writing letters to members of other delegations or political figures, participating to general meetings with the other members of the delegation. The intern, in addition to the purely administrative and more bureaucratic part of the activities of the Consulate, will take care of social media management, posting news and information concerning the activities of the Consulate and those of San Marino.

  • Please note the position will be unpaid but support on students expenses will be provided

Location

Due to the COVID-19 emergency that the world is facing at the moment, the intern will work from home for the duration of the internship. It is not required for the selected candidate to move to London where the official seat of the Consulate is located.

Duration

We are currently looking for a one-year intern but, due to the current situation, we are aware that students might be available for a shorter period of time. Therefore, we kindly ask applicants to specify their availability when submitting the application.

Working hours

The engagement can be part-time or full-time. We require candidates to specify their availability also in this case.

Required qualifications

The intern must be fluent in written and spoken English. Students must be between 18 to 28 years old.

Other requirements

Priority will be given to students from the Republic of San Marino and to students who are able to speak and write in Italian.
